Seaside outing
Our annual trip to the seaside for our Lunch Club members took place with two minibuses setting off for Eastbourne at the crack of dawn. Fortunately the weather was kind and there was plenty of blue sky and sunshine. It was a long day but was ‘fantastic’ with everyone having a wonderful day out.
Many thanks to Richard for organising the event and for driving and also to Liam for driving the second minibus. A number of our lunch club volunteers, as well as two from John Lewis, were on hand to help support the clients, including those who needed to be pushed in their wheelchairs.
It was a lovely day out that the clients thoroughly enjoyed. ‘I wish we could do it all over again’.
